Beneath the rising stars -- European cooperations
// Anna Chorzepa___A CO-PRODUCTION BY THEATERWERKSTATT HANNOVER, STUDIO TEATRALNE BLUM AND CENTRUM SZTUKI DZIECKA IN POZNAN. “Being the 5th“ means waiting – long waiting. Five battered figures are sitting in front of a closed door waiting for reparation. Waiting gives a lot of time for reflection, observation and feeling sympathy. But there is also place for either worry and hope and trust in the center of this story. >
The opening play has taken place on 7th of May 2005 in the theatre Theaterwerkstatt in Hannover. Further performances followed in May and June. In September 2005 the play has been presented to the audience in Poznan. //

// Kamil Banach, Agnieszka Popek, Adriana Ronzewska-Kotynska___JAZZ ORCHESTRA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. The Jazz orchestra for young people is one of the numerable musical activities between Lower Saxony and Poland. >
Talented young musicians from the two countries have joined each other in the binational Jazz orchestra. The first concert attended by prime ministers Marek Belka and Christian Wulff in Kreisau on 1st of September 2004 has been run highly successful. The conjoined practices and concerts have taken place in the following years – in September 2005 in Burgwedel/D and in October 2006 in Konin/PL. In 2007 24 musicians from both countries are playing together again. >
In our opinion the improvisation, freshness and creativity are among the key features of jazz, also being characteristic of young people. In our projects we have tried to fully express the spirit of jazz, youth and variety and creative openness. The main advantage of music is its universality – it exists above cultural and linguistic divisions. This is why we have tried to make our projects understandable to every young person, irrespective of their origin and the ensuing differences. //

// Michal Zerdzicki___EUROPEAN ORGANISATION FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH (CERN). CERN (French: Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire - European Organisation for Nuclear Research), is the world‘s largest particle physics laboratory, situated on the border between France and Switzerland. >
First accelerator Synchro-Cyclotron was started in 1957 (in the same year the European Community was founded). Now CERN has twenty members states. Countries participating in pincponc project are also members of CERN. //
// Magdalena Drzycimska___11TH INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF YOUNG THEATRE OKNO. The festival associates artists who speak various languages, but share their wish to work on perfection of their skills and finding their own creative method as well as specific understanding of theatre as a way of seeking. >
They all are constantly involved in research on actor‘s craft - on their own craft. Performances of the program include open presentations of methods of work, projections of films, meetings and workshops. Another integral part of the festival is also the Polish-German University of Theatrical Tradition, providing young people from both countries with the opportunity to learn, discover, ask questions, and talk with the artists. We hope that this „informal education“ will help them to enrich their perception of art. //

// Jagoda Szymkowiak___THE WALL. When I was a kid I saw Pink Floyd videoclip „Another brick In the Wall” on TV. I remember how much those big red and black walking hammers and scary children with deformed faces impressed me… Then I saw men and women destroying colorful Berlin wall with hammers, fireworks and cheering people. I asked my mum if that was good that those people were destroying that nice colorful wall and she said things were getting better…
// Jakub Zielinski___COOPERATION WITHOUT BORDERS. Open borders-a milestone in European integration, allowed the countries of European Union an international economical and cultural cooperation on a scale larger than ever. >
Travelling across Europe has never been so easy, the ability of travelling freely or even settling in any European country helps to put our cultural differences aside and stimulates the integration. >
Open borders are one of the most significant symbols of European cooperation. //
